Verizon: PRLs Updated & EV-DO PRL Improvement

New PRLs have been issued for America’s Choice and other plans, call *228 from your phone to update. Also, owners of the Audiovox XV6600 and LG VX8000 (EV-DO phones) should dial *22899 to get a special PRL update that addresses acknowledgment of an EV-DO signal being pushed to the phone.

Verizon: PRLs Updated

Verizon has issued a new America’s Choice PRL, 50210, as well as many Local Digital Choice plans. Regardless of what plan you have, call *228 to get your PRL updated.

PRL 10024 Released

Sprint’s Preferred Roaming List has been updated to 10024. This update moves around the priority of some roaming providers (and aparrently increases the priority of some additional digital networks over analog), as well as adding international roaming in Australia and Israel. Call *2 and ask a rep to have your account flagged for the update.

Sprint PRL Update Petition Launched

We have launched a petition to ask Sprint to provide some way for users to initiate PRL Updates themselves, similar to how all other CDMA carriers provide PRL Updates. If you are frustrated every time you have to call and talk to a (sometimes clueless) representative to get a PRL Update, please sign this petition.
