Verizon: Audiovox XV6600 Begins Release
Verizon has begun to release the Audiovox XV6600. Currently, we can only confirm the XV6600WOC (without camera) has actually been released, and neither are fully for sale online yet. The XV6600WOC is identical to the PPC-6601, the first commercially available EV-DO handset in the United States.

New PRLs have been issued for America’s Choice and other plans, call *228 from your phone to update. Also, owners of the Audiovox XV6600 and LG VX8000 (EV-DO phones) should dial *22899 to get a special PRL update that addresses acknowledgment of an EV-DO signal being pushed to the phone.
