AT&T: Online Store Returns
As part of the launch of The New Cingular, on 11/15, AT&T’s online store began re-directing customers to Cingular’s online store. Apparently, large stocks of remaining AT&T phones has caused Cingular to reverse this decision. The AT&T Online Store has returned, with larger after-rebate discounts for many phones.
Cingular+AT&T: Day 1
The merger of sales channels has begun. As of today, all AT&T Wireless stores have been re-branded, and have been fully converted to Cingular stores. The AT&T Wireless online store for consumers has also been replaced with a forward page to Cingular’s online store. Online handset upgrades are no longer available for Blue customers.
