According to a slide from the latest internal playbook, Sprint will be rolling out Android Gingerbread for the Kyocera Echo dual screen Android smartphone beginning on Monday. The upfdate will include improvements to power management, security patches, EAS improvements, Swype 3.0, improved text input, new download manager and other fixes.

Verizon’s Twitter account has confirmed that its variant of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S II will support LTE data access, though it’s not known whether it will be branded under the DROID series or if it will fall under the Galaxy S brand as with the previous Samsung Fascinate.
