Cingular today has begun to offer the Nokia 9300 via consumer sales channels. Apple Deploys Bluetooth 2.0
Apple as we previously stated has launched Bluetooth 2.0. Supporting EDR (Enhanced Data Rates), the new PowerBook G4 series can support the theoretical maximum transmission rate of EV-DO, at three megabits per second (EV-DO’s theoretical maximum is 2.4 Mbps).
Cingular: Treo 650 Bluetooth Hindered
Engadget is reporting that the Cingular version of the PalmOne Treo 650 will not support Bluetooth Dial-Up Networking profiles. In addition, they are reporting that the current modifications to enable it on the Sprint version have been blocked.
