yesterday, Verizon has now launched the Samsung u620 as the first phone
to support the new V CAST Mobile TV service. It uses Qualcomm’s MediaFLO platform.
The phone features a QVGA display, 1.3 megapixel camera with video
recording, music player, memory expansion through a microSD slot,
speaker independent voice dialing, telescoping antenna for
broadcasts, and GPS support through VZ Navigator. The retail price of
the phone is $199.99 and price with a 2 year agreement is $199.99 with
$50 instant online discount bringing the total cost down to $149.99.
The phone is now available online and in markets where V CAST Mobile TV
is available.
