Software company Mark/Space is offering what they call a “public
preview” of The Missing Sync for owners of RIM’s BlackBerry that use
Macs.
The software allows owners of BlackBerry smartphones the ability to
sync contacts, calendar entries, notes, and other information without
resorting to unstable hacks or other third-party software. Owners of
the Pearl and 8800 series device can also sync iPhoto albums and iTunes
playlists. (unprotected audio only)
Requirements are a Blackerry running OS 4.0 or higher and a Mac running
OSX 10.4.8. The software is expected to go on sale at the end of the
month.
