Verizon has confirmed via its Twitter account that the carrier will unveil Android-powered hardware with support for its nascent 4G LTE network during CES next month, reiterating previous statements.
Hardware expected to be demonstrated includes HTC’s yet to be announced Mecha Desire Z variant and the Tegra 2 powered Motorola reference tablet running Honeycomb confirmed during the Dive Into Mobile industry conference.
Motorola has also taken to YouTube, posting a teaser of its forthcoming CES tablet announcement.
That’s great, but if they pull a Sprint and charge $10 more for “premium” data it will be another example of Verizon taking their customers to the cleaners.
