Verizon has announced the July 14th launch of the LG Cosmos 2 entry-level messaging phone. The phone features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, built-in social media applications and a new email client.
The Cosmos 2 featureset includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, media player, document viewer and support for group messaging along with a 3.5mm headset jack and accepts microSD cards up to 32GB in size. Pricing is set at $79.99 after new 2 year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $29.99.
