Verizon And AT&T To Begin “All New HTC One” Sales On Tuesday at 1PM?

By Humberto Saabedra on March 23, 2014

Verizon All New One teaser wideFollowing Verizon’s tardiness at launching the first version of the HTC One last year in favor of the Droid DNA, the carrier is set to make up for the late launch by being the first carrier in the US to launch the 2014 version starting immediately after the March 25th launch event at 1PM EDT. To make sure that all eyes are on Verizon and HTC on Tuesday, the carrier is said to also have a 2-week exclusive lead time before the other US carriers are allowed to launch their versions of the flagship Android smartphone.

HTC is also said to be planning simultaneous launches for the UK and Taiwan on the same day during the global launch event.

The all-new HTC One features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, up to 64GB of on-board storage depending on model, microSD slot with card support up to 128GB, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display, HTC BoomSound, rear Duo Camera assembly with UltraPixel functionality, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE support, nanoSIM slot, and Android KitKat with HTC Sense 6.0.

The camera specifications are listed as the Duo Camera with UltraPixel on the back with a BSI sensor and pixel size of 2.0um, F2.0 and a 28mm lens alongside the HTC ImageChip 2 with HDR video. The front camera is a 5 megapixel BSI sensor with a wide angle lens and HDR support, 1080p video recording and HTC Zoe support.
