Sprint PRL 20217 Released

Sprint has issued PRL 20217 for EV-DO devices, and is now available for over-the-air updating. Call data support in order to be flagged for the update. It is not known what has been changed at this time.

Sprint Launches Sanyo MM-7500

Sprint today launched the Sanyo MM-7500, Sprint’s first mid-range EV-DO Sanyo model. The phone continues the ruggedized form of the 7000 series, adding a 1.3 megapixel camera and Power Vision, as well as support for the Sprint Music Store. Verizon Issues New PRLs

Early this morning Verizon Wireless issued new PRLs for most of their plans, as well as EV-DO versions. To update your phone with the latest support for roaming, dial *228 from your Verizon phone.

Verizon To Launch MediaFLO Live TV Network

Verizon today announced that they plan to launch a new wireless network specifically for broadcasting live television. Using MediaFLO technology developed through Qualcomm’s reserach into Flash-OFDM technologies. Verizon Issues New PRLs

Verizon Wireless has issued new PRLs for many different plan/device combinations. As always, Verizon suggests you install this update in your phone as it syncronizes the expected roaming experience with the phone. Dial *228 and chose option two to have your Verizon phone updated to the latest PRL.
