Effective June 1st 2007, T-Mobile will be raising per message SMS rates
to $0.15 per SMS, including per message overage on certain messaging
bundles. This makes T-Mobile the last national carrier to raise their
SMS messaging rates and is a clear material change under their Terms and
Conditions (which, allows customers to cancel service without an Early Termination Fee within 30 days of the change). On the same day, they will also reduce the per
message MMS rate to $0.15 per message from the industry standard $0.25,
making them the only national carrier to offer identical per message
rates for SMS and MMS services.
