Palm has quietly released two updates for the Verizon Treo 700p and Alltel 700wx smart devices that address a rare phone reset bug that occurs under certain conditions.
It should be noted that Alltel users with firmware version 1.12 loaded on their devices do not have to apply this update, while Verizon 700p users with version 1.11 can also dismiss the update as those are the respective final firmware versions for the respective devices.
Everyone else with firmware versions below these should apply the update as soon as possible.
