Orb Networks late yesterday issued a minor update to their place-shifting software. The update fixes problems with UPNP streams of live television, as well as various unexpected Orb errors. Version 2.00.0864 can be downloaded from Orb’s web site.
That update was combined with a web update today of the Orb site. That update (which does not require any installation) improves webcam support, including the ability to remotely take a snapshot of a webcam, as well as fixing Flash Player support for webcam streams.
