The first image of HTC’s latest One variant has surfaced thanks to Taiwanese site ePrice in the One MAX. The One Max will be the second One variant released by the struggling manufacturer when it launches later this year. The phone is said to feature a 5.9-inch display with upgraded hardware in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset at 2.3GHz and much larger 3.200mAh battery. Other specifications haven’t been verified, though the phone is expected to make its formal debut during the IFA tradeshow in September.
HTC is currently mired in red ink while struggling to regain marketshare and is in the midst of a turnaround with the recent launch of the One Mini, which is expected to launch in the next few weeks in the US through AT&T according to a recent press image leak.
