HTC Announces One Max With 5.9-Inch Display And Fingerprint Scanner

By Humberto Saabedra on October 14, 2013

HTC One Max

After months of leaks, HTC has officially announced the latest variant of its One series flagship in the Max. The device display measures 5.9 inches, making it one of the largest “phablets” on the market next to its largest competitor in the Xperia Z Ultra at 6.6-inches. The device also features a fingerprint scanner on the backside of the device for additional device security and functionality.

The full specifications are listed below, with special mention including Verizon and Sprint LTE support. Of note, the HTC One Max will also have a removable back plate despite having a sealed battery, as the One Max will also feature a microSD slot along with the microSIM slot, which would make it the first One series variant smartphone outside of mainland China to launch with a microSD slot.
