Cingular and HBO Mobile announced today the offering of mini episodes of the HBO series “Entourage”. These mini episodes are supposed to be “true extensions” of the series as seen on HBO. Customers can also watch full length episodes from the first season of “Entourage”. Plus full episodes from “Sex And the City”, “Curb your Enthusiasm” and Dane Cook’s “Tourgasm”.
Cingular customers need to have a 3G handset and a Media Net Unlimited package to view these HBO Mobile offerings. Although the HBO content is “Premium Content” and will cost extra. The 3G carrier does warn that some of the content from HBO is for mature audiences only. The recently launched parental controls functionality of Cingular Video can be used to limit access to Cingular’s video offerings.
