AT&T: GSM Handset Upgrades Available Online
AT&T Wireless GSM customers can now upgrade handsets online. This process has been integrated into AT&T’s Online Customer Service portion of their site. Upgrade prices are very similar to new customer prices, refurbished and corporate discounts are not currently available however.
AT&T: New Rebate Details Upcoming AT&T Phones
AT&T Wireless just released their initial Q4 rebates. While this is not a complete list of phones released, it does give insight into some of the phones most likely to be released. The rebate lists the following upcoming phones: Motorola V180, Motorola V220, Motorola V505, Sony Ericsson Z500a, and Nokia 3220.
Verizon: Verizon (Finally) Releases World Phone
Verizon has for months offered the Samsung SCH-A790 world phone, supporting 900/1800 GSM and 1900 MHz CDMA frequencies. Today, they have finally began to sell it to consumers. The phone is $349.99 with a new two-year agreement.
