Alltel has announced that it has launched the HTC Snap Windows Mobile device for its 91 remaining divested markets.
The HTC Snap features a QVGA landscape display, Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, A-GPS support, dual-band US CDMA EVDO Rev. A and quadband GSM/EDGE for international roaming, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios, Qualcomm 7501a chipset with 256MB of RAM and 128MB of ROM running at 528 MHz, speakerphone, and 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder.
Included in the Alltel HTC Snap package is a multivoltage AC Adapter, USB cable, headset, a 3-in-1 audio adapter and four international AC plugs for those traveling outside of the United States.
The HTC Snap smartphone is available for $149.99 before a $70 mail-in rebate with a qualifying 1-year agreement and required Alltel Wireless Smart Choice plans that include national voice minutes, unlimited Internet browsing and e-mail, along with My Circle access starting at $69.99, bringing the total to $79.99.
