Verizon Wireless officially launched the LG Chocolate VX8500 today. The Chocolate line is a series of high-end phones using touch-sensitive keys that disappear when not in use. The VX8500 features the following:

The VX8500 is available online only currently, and will be in VZW stores on August 7th.
The LG VX5300 also launched fully today. It is a mid-range phone with Bluetooth that builds on the popular VX5000 series, replacing the VX5200.

The VX5300 is a Tri-band Dual mode phone, and features the following

VGA Camera with Flash
Full Duplex Speakerphone
Hearing Aid Compatible
The LG VX5300 is selling for $49.99 with a 2 year agreement and $99.99 with a 1 year agreement.
The LG VX8500 is selling for $149.99 with a 2 year agreement and $199.99 with a 1 year agreement. The prices for both are available at VZW’s online store.
