Verizon has begun to roll out Ice Cream Sandwich for the Motorola Droid 4, with the update also adding international roaming support after months of promising such support in previous statements. The update began rolling out yesterday afternoon with the rollout being conducted in phases. The changelog has also been made available.
The update adds the following features:
- Lock screen with customizable launch bar
- New notification drop-down curtain
- built-in data counter
- Global Roaming support enabled
- Verizon Remote Diagnostics to ease customer issues when contacting customer service for phone issues
- Updated Mobile Hotspot client corrects stability and connection issues
The update pushes the core software version to 6.16.217.XT894.
