Verizon has announced that it has rolled out its V CAST Apps suite via BIS access with optional BES access via enterprise servers, with the added capability to block the service if so desired via either MyVerizon for consumers or Verizon Enterprise Center for Businesses.
V CAST Apps is meant as a companion to Blackberry App World with its own library of apps and support for carrier billing with current availability on the BlackBerry Boldâ„¢ 9650, Storm2, Curveâ„¢ 8530, Tourâ„¢ 9630 and launching in the next two weeks on the Stormâ„¢ 9530 and Curve 8330.
