Following up on the opening of the Moto X information page, Verizon has also opened up an information and email registration page for its version of the HTC One. In a change from its usual practice of modifying the handset for its own needs, Verizon Wireless will be releasing the reference version of the HTC One instead of fitting it within the DROID lineup and template.
The HTC One for Verizon will feature a 4.7-inch 1080p display at 468ppi, Ultrapixel camera at 4.0 megapixels with optical image stabilization, an f/2.0 lens element, real-time HDR video capture, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and Sense 5 with BlinkFeed along with an infrared transceiver and universal remote control software.
Hardware will consist of the 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of embedded memory depending on the carrier’s decision to range one or both models, NFC support, a 2300mAh battery and front-facing stereo speakers with machined and drilled apertures for improved volume. The audio features also include a built-in high-power amp and an extra microphone for noise cancellation and high-volume audio/video recording without distortion.
Verizon has yet to announce pricing and availability details for its version of the HTC One.
I think that you are wrong in the specs it is 32 or 64 gb of memory not 16 and their still is a chance it will come with4.2.2 jellybean out of the box I did hear that because Verizon has so many new phones this month that it will be the 23rd or 29th of this month
Verizon doesn’t usually stock 32/64GB versions unless they can make the subsidies work in their favor, or a deal gets cut beforehand. I’ve seen nothing to indicate that it would come out this month and everything I’ve heard points to mid-September. Verizon hasn’t completed carrier testing for HTC’s 4.2.2 build yet, but it’s been underway for a few weeks.
Anyone else notice the date on the phone in the picture. It says Sept. 5th. I hope they do not push it out to that date.
