Verizon has officially announced pending availability of the long awaited HTC Touch Diamond.
As previously reported, the Verizon variant will feature a microSDHC expansion slot in place of the 4GB NAND Flash chip found in the Sprint and Alltel versions, although contract pricing has increased by $100 to $299.99 after $70 mail-in rebate via prepaid Visa debit card when it launches on Friday.
The device will also feature support for Visual Voicemail as well as feature Opera Mobile, but is otherwise identical in specification to the Sprint and Alltel versions with a VGA touchscreen display, TouchFLO 3D interface, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi radio, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, speakerphone and GPS support via VZ Navigator.
