According to the above internal document, Verizon is offering free push to talk service for new and current customers that have purchased the BlackBerry Tour for the length of the agreement until June 30th under qualified Nationwide Voice & Email Plans of $34.99 or higher, the $9.99 Small Business SharePlan secondary lines with data plan of $29.99 or higher and the $9.99 Family Share plan secondary lines with data plan of $29.99 or higher.
The carrier is also sending out emails to customers detailing the new offering, following the recent launch of the service earlier last month for an additional $5 monthly service charge. The offer also does not apply to devices activated on standalone BlackBerry data plans and will be charged the $5 monthly fee.
For those customers that are interested, it is advised to mention promotion code 19038 when contacting customer service regarding the promotion as knowledge of the offer has not been completely disseminated across all call centers.
