Verizon internal documentation has confirmed that the Motorola Droid Pro will launch via Verizon’s online sales portal and Telesales on November 9th for $279.99 after a new 2 year agreement before an additional $100 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $179.99. The retail launch of the device is set for November 18th with a pre-order sale available starting November 9th with the first orders being shipped out on November 10th-11th.
The device features a 3.1-inch touch display, dual-mode CDMA/GSM radio, 1GHz processor, 4GB internal storage, 5.0 megapixel camera with DVD resolution video capture, 3G hotspot support, DLNA streaming, Wi-Fi radio, Bluetooth with stereo audio support and Android 2.2. For business users, QuickOffice is installed and includes remote wipe and AuthenTec IPSec multi-headed VPN integration, along with device and SD card encryption coming early next year in an update.
