Following up, the Verizon Droid 2 Global Edition has been confirmed for launch on November 11th for $299.99 after a new 2 year agreement before an additional $100 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $199.99.
The device will feature a 1.2GHz processor, 3.7-inch, 854 x 480 resolution touchscreen display, support for remote wipe of device and SD card, QuickOffice, inbox filtering, 5.0 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and 720p video capture, CDMA, triband HSPA support and quadband GSM,hardware and virtual Swype keyboard, 8GB internal memory plus 8GB pre-installed SD card, Android 2.2, mobile hotspot support and Flash 10.1.
