Following the launch of similar plans in Texas and Louisiana last month, Verizon has launched a new service plan under the Rev it Up branding in the Southern California area consisting of unlimited voice and text messaging for $69.99 a month, with unlimited data an additional $29.99, bringing the possible total to $99.99 per month.
The new plan marks a $20 reduction for unlimited voice and text messaging from its original $89.99 monthly rate while the new $99.99 rate for unlimited voice, text messaging and data access is the same $20 reduction from its original $119.99 rate. As with the plans launched in Texas and Louisiana, the Rev it Up plan is limited to those living in a Southern California zipcode, with current customers able to switch to the new plan.
