Verizon Wireless today launched the Treo 700wx. Sprint has had an exclusive on the Treo 700wx since launch, however, the only difference between the 700wx and its predecesor is double the built-in RAM (to 64 MB). Many Treo 700w owners complained of constantly running out of memory, with only 32 MB, prompting Palm to revise the model.
The Treo 700wx is available for $399 after rebate with new two-year agreement. Oddly enough, Verizon is continuing to sell the Treo 700w for the same price after rebate.
