Cingular (AT&T) has launched the Blackberry 8800. This version of the
BlackBerry features quadband GSM/EDGE, Push-To-Talk, microSD
slot for memory expansion with support for 2GB cards, media player, built in GPS
support (a first for a GSM BlackBerry), and Bluetooth 2.0. The cost of the device is $499
retail, and $349 with a two year agreement along with a $50 mail in
rebate, bringing the total to $299. The phone is available at Cingular
(AT&T) Retail Stores and online.
