As expected, Verizon has launched the HTC Imagio Windows Mobile smart device.
The Imagio features dual-band CDMA / quadband GSM / single-band HSPA support for international roaming and is also the first Verizon Windows Mobile device to support VCAST Mobile TV which uses MediaFLO as well as Windows Mobile 6.5, otherwise known as Windows Phone.
The rest of the specifications consist of a 5.0 megapixel autofocus camera with video recorder, 3.6 inch WVGA resolution touch display, 3.5mm headphone jack, microSDHC expansion slot, 528Mhz Qualcomm MSM7600 series processor with 256MB ROM/512MB RAM, Wi-Fi radio, Opera browser, and HTC’s TouchFLO 3D user interface.
Pricing is set identically to the Touch Pro 2 at $579.99 Month to Month, $269.99 after new 1 year agreement and $199.99 after new 2 year agreement and $100 mail-in rebate.
