Verizon’s long-delayed Droid Bionic Android smartphone is now set to launch on September 8th after being launched in January during CES according to new internal documentation.
The Droid Bionic will be Motorola’s first 4G LTE Android smartphone with full Webtop support and HDMI mirror capability along with Android Gingerbread, 1GHz dual-core processor and desktop class RAM for improved performance. The phone will also be sold with Webtop class accessories such as the Multimedia Dock and the Lapdock first introduced with the Motorola ATRIX 4G earlier this year.
The smartphone will also feature 16GB of internal memory along with a pre-installed 16GB memory card, bringing the total amount of storage to 32GB,a Wi-Fi N radio, Bluetooth, and an 8.0 megapixel camera with 1080p video capture and LED flash. Pricing has yet to be confirmed.
