Following the passing of the initially planned May 20th launch date for the LG Ally after the May 13th pre-order period passed with no device availability, Verizon has begun sending out emails to customers that had pre-ordered the device detailing the new launch date as being May 26th “or later†depending on initial device shipments.
As previously reported the LG Ally is a mid-range Android device with version 2.1 of the operating system, hardware keyboard, and WVGA resolution display for $199.99 after a new 2 year agreement before an additional $100 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $99.99.
