Verizon has officially announced the Pantech Escapade dual-mode CDMA/GSM clamshell for customers that want international roaming in a low-cost device.
As previously reported, the Escapade features a 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, QVGA internal display, dual-mode dual-band GSM/CDMA access and speakerphone with 3 international adapters, standard battery and SIM card included.
The Escapade will be available tomorrow for $79.99 with a new two-year customer agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $29.99
