Verizon has officially announced the business-oriented Motorola Droid Pro with a pre-order promotion beginning tomorrow November 9th and launch set for November 18th at $179.99 after new 2 year agreement and $100 mail-in rebate.
The device features a 3.1-inch touch display, dual-mode CDMA/GSM radio, 1GHz processor, 4GB internal storage, 5.0 megapixel camera with DVD resolution video capture, 3G hotspot support, DLNA streaming, Wi-Fi radio, Bluetooth with stereo audio support and Android 2.2. For business users, QuickOffice is installed and includes remote wipe and AuthenTec IPSec multi-headed VPN integration, along with device and SD card encryption coming early next year in an update.
