Verizon and Motorola have confirmed that a small number of initial Droid X units have issues with display banding and flickering. The carrier has also stated that Motorola has rectified the issue and is continuing to manufacture and ship the device as normal, recommending that any customers experiencing such issues contact Motorola customer support and/or Verizon Wireless.
"Verizon Wireless and Motorola are aware of a very small number of DROID X units that have experienced a flickering or banding display. Motorola has resolved the issue and is continuing to ship the phones. Any consumer who experiences a flickering or banding display should contact a Motorola customer support center or Verizon Wireless."
AND THATS HOW U TAKE CARE OF A PROBLEM UNLIKE APPLE LOL
My phone has this problem as well. I took a video of symptoms, and post it to YouTube.
Nice to see that Motorola and Verizon Wireless are up front about it.

Sorry didn’t realize the URL didn’t come out in the message.
Wait until Incredible or Galaxy come out, in the next 3 months, they will blow the defect-ridden, unrootable Droid X away!
People complain about iPhone… Geez ..! Just let them live with early Android phones for a couple of years, they will yearn for the ease of an iPhone!
Amen Omar! Defective units will always appear when mass producing electronics. It’s how the company responds to it that shows the company’s true colors. Now telling the consumer that they’re not using it “correctly”, that is CLASS!! LoL
