Following up on the announcement of the Motorola Quantico rugged clamshell for AWS CDMA networks, U.S. Cellular has launched its variant.
As previously reported, the clamshell is certified against a 30-minute dunk in up to three feet of water, extreme pressure, temperature, dust, shock, vibration and rain.
The phone is available for $179.95 on prepaid service before an additional $50 rebate, with pricing on a new 2 year agreement set at $149.95 before the same $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the totals to $129.95 and $99.95 respectively.
