Following up on the release of the Sprint Hero source, HTC has now released the source for the Verizon variant in the Droid Eris for developers to use and experiment with in order to develop better applications.
HTC Releases Sprint Hero Kernel Source Code
HTC has released the kernel source for the Sprint Hero along with the source for the HTC Tattoo Android device. The kernel is being provided as a requisite of the GPL licensing agreement and is used by developers to better understand the underlying software and hardware in order to assist in developing applications.
