Motorola Announces USB-lte7110 Modem

Motorola has announced the forthcoming availability of the USB-lte7110 LTE modem.  The modem is compatible with FDD-LTE based networks and supports speeds of up to 100Mbps download and 50Mbps upload with dual internal MIMO anteannae. Carrier support for the modem has yet to be announced.

MetroPCS Launches LTE Service in Detroit

Following up on the launches of LTE service in Dallas and Las Vegas last month, the regional carrier has launched service in the metro Detroit area.  The launch also signals the availability of the Samsung Craft for $349.99 before an additional $50 rebate, bringing the total to $299.99.
