Verizon has updated their primary PRLs for both EV-DO phones as well as America’s Choice plans, and possibly others. Dial *228 and chose option two to receive the latest service update for your phone/plan.

Sprint: Samsung SP-i600 DUN Enabler

The code to enable dial-up networking on the Samsung SP-i600, enabling owners to use their phone as a modem, has been released onto the internet. To enable it, dial ##8778# and tethering will then be enabled.

Samsung VM-A680 Firmware Updated

Sprint has issued firmware YG08 for the Samsung VM-A680. It is not known at this time what the update addresses. Sprint: LG MM-535 Updated

Sprint Plans To Update PPC-6600

Sprint has confirmed that they plan to update the PPC-6600 Series to support EV-DO. While the update is not expected before the end of the year, and must be approved by Sprint, it will enable EV-DO status similar to the Verizon version of the device.

Verizon Treo 650 Updated
