BitPim has been updated to version 0.1.17. The only change in this release is that the conduit program that allows for communication with phones, Python, has been updated. Mac OS X users will benefit greatly from the increased stability of this release.

BitPim Updated… Again

BitPim has been updated to version .7b11. Updates include bugfixes and improved support for ringtone transfer on Sanyo phones. BitPim developers are asking for assistance with Sanyo PM-8200 support, and have stated that Outlook syncronization will be available in the near future.

BitPim Major Update

BitPim has been updated to version .7-test10. This is a major update that adds full filesystem access to most Sanyo phones. This includes initial camera and download uploading and downloading. If fully working, this will be the first phone to allow sharing of J2ME programs without relying on transferring files over-the-air.
