Google has decided to shut down 800-GOOG-411, their free business directory assistance service. The service will close after November 11. Microsoft’s recently unveiled Bing! search engine now features a mobile portal that on relies user input location information to provide relevant results such as directions, maps, weather and movie showings with convenient shortcuts. Bing is in open beta now and the mobile version is free to use.
