Microsoft has officially stated that Windows Mobile 6 a.k.a Crossbow
will be shipping to T-Mobile in the second quarter of this year. John
Starkweather, Microsoft’s product manager for mobile and embedded
devices stated that T-Mobile will be the first wireless carrier to
recieve the updated version of the operating system before other major
carriers by way of new devices, but no word was given on whether they
would update existing devices such as the T-Mobile Dash, MDA (HTC Wizard) or SDA (HTC Hurricane).
However, PhoneNews.com has previously reported that the T-Mobile Dash appears to be slated for being upgraded to Windows Mobile 6 Standard.
