Following up, Sprint has confirmed that it is working on a firmware update for the Hero designed to address issues with daylight savings time correction and SMS issues present at the launch of the device.
The update does not constitute an upgrade from the current Android 1.5-based build and there are still more fixes to be listed before it is released, with the update expected “in the next few weeks” according to the post.
