Best Buy has begun listing the forthcoming Sprint version of the HTC Snap S511 Windows Mobile 6.1 smart device first revealed last month .
The Sprint version of the Snap will feature identical specifications as the GSM version with a 528 MHz processor, 128 MB RAM with 80 MB user accessible, 256 MB ROM, Bluetooth 2.1, landscape QVGA resolution display, 2.0 megapixel camera and Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard.
The biggest change will be in terms of battery capacity with the 800mAH battery being swapped for a larger 1500mAH unit. The phone is expected to be launched this Sunday along with a slew of new models following the Saturday launch of the Palm Pre for $149.99 after new agreement and rebates.
So, besides the fact that this is standard edition, how is it different than the Palm Treo Pro? For $50 more, I’d take the touchscreen and other benefits of Professional…
Newer hardware, cheaper display.
So, a fat fingered Treo Pro.. Um, thanks, HTC?
