Sprint Rolls Out WiMax in Dallas/Ft.Worth and North Carolina

Sprint has announced in a series of press releases that it has launched Sprint 4G service in North Carolina and the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex in Texas. New markets in North Carolina include Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Durham, Chapel Hill and Cary, with Austin and San Antonio following the D/FW launch this month.

It should be noted that the Clear service (with Sprint acting as an MVNO leasing capacity from Clearwire) is not yet available for purchase in the above markets, with no immediate word on launch.

    Clear is launched in DFW as well.
