In a note sent to previously invited members of the press, Samsung has confirmed that it has rescheduled the media event which is to unveil the US version of the Samsung Galaxy S II for Tuesday evening during the same time and location as previously scheduled. As Hurricane Irene makes its way up the Eastern Seaboard, the precaution was taken taking into account the suspension of public transit, air travel and subway service this weekend within Manhattan up into Monday, affecting those that are flying in for the event and forcing travel adjustments accordingly.
