Samsung has officially announced two of its next devices in its Galaxy Tab and its Galaxy S line in the S II LTE and Galaxy Tab LTE ahead of their official unveiling during the IFA expo being held in Germany this weekend. Â Â The Galaxy S II LTE features Android 2.3 Gingerbread with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, an 8-megapixel camera and 1080p HD video capture. The device will ship with Samsung’s Social, Game, and Music hubs with theReader hub to be available after launch, which will provide content, media, and other respective services. Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy S II will support mobile hotspot functionality and will allow up to eight Wi-Fi devices to connect to the device for mobile broadband access, though added that the feature will be carrier-dependent.
The Galaxy Tab LTE features the same upgraded 1.5GHz processor as the S II LTE and the LTE radio, but is otherwise unchanged from the current Galaxy Tab with an 8.9 inch display at 1280×800. Both models are primarily intended for the European market and neither AT&T nor Verizon have announced variants.
