Samsung has officially announced the successor to the Omnia Windows Mobile device in the Omnia II.
The Omnia II features Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional,triband HSPA, a 3.7-inch AMOLED display at WVGA resolution, TouchWiz 2.0 with 3D effects, and Advanced R Touch technology for more accurate touch response. Multimedia features include 480p video recording/playback, and Wi-Fi radio along with stereo Bluetooth support.
Samsung has also confirmed that Verizon Wireless will be releasing the CDMA version of the Omnia II with EVDO Rev. A data access along with a future upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 once it becomes available.
