Palm has opened up its Ares browser based SDK into a public beta not long after announcing the closed beta in October.
The purpose behind the Ares SDK is to provide interested web developers the capability to program and create webOS apps using web-based technologies as was originally announced during the debut of the device in January.
The SDK is compatible with Safari, Chrome and Firefox, though no specific mention is made regarding Internet Explorer support.
